Serving as your Ward 4 Councillor this past term has been one of my greatest privileges. I am asking for your support again, so that we can deepen the work already underway. In 2022 I said that I wanted to come in ready to listen and work hard to make an impact for the people of our community and I would like to continue this work. Two decades of public service has provided me a very solid understanding of the decision making structure and powers of local government. 

I would like the opportunity to continue working to make Centre Wellington the best community to live and raise your families and grow old in. The rising cost of living is of great concern and this must not rob the next generation of the opportunity to stay here in the community they grew up in. I am committed to ensuring this town remains a place where our children, and their children, and our seniors can afford to call home. 

There are some significant projects planned for Ward 4 this next term and I have been following these projects very closely. I have been listening and advocating for Ward 4 residents these past four years and I hope to continue to do so this term. 

As a resident of Fergus for over 16 years, my husband Mathew and I chose Centre Wellington to raise our two boys, Cohen and Drew. This is a community rich in culture, nature, sport and history - but the greatest asset of this community has always been its people.
